Anolytech Disinfection System ™
Anolytech has developed equipment to manufacture effective disinfection that can be used in several areas. It can be produced locally but also bought in bottles. The system produces nature’s own disinfectants that contain hypochlorous acid, and are naturally part of the immune system in humans and animals.
The non-alcoholic disinfectant effectively kills 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, fungi, mold and spores. The disinfectant is pH neutral and non-drying. AnoDes is produced by electrolysis and is completely free of dyes and alcohol, and effective in low concentrations.
Circular process
Takes disinfection from a linear process with fire and environmentally hazardous shipping and waste to a sustainable circular process with recycling and refilling of existing containers on site. In this way, business and important societal functions secure the supply of disinfection while at the same time being innovative with sustainability and safety in focus.
On site and on request
The system generates electrolysed water (AnoDes) on site made from salt and water. Electrolyzed water generates hypochlorous acid (HClO) which has been studied for over 100 years and has been proven to be more powerful than several other disinfectants.
The process and AnoDes
AnoDes is prepared by electrolysis (ECA) of a saline solution. The process involves the application of a direct current with the anode and cathode principle. The active substance in AnoDes is hypochlorous acid (HClO). The highest content of hypochlorous acid in AnoDes is obtained when the solution maintains a neutral pH between 6 and 7. Anolytech uses a proprietary system where the pH levels are controlled with very high accuracy, pH 6.5 (Anolytech method, Anolyte-pH). This guarantees a continuously high content of hypochlorous acid while keeping the amount of salt in the solution at a low level. As AnoDes is pH-neutral (pH 6.5), it can be used directly on the skin and is not irritating or harmful to the body.
Electrolysis and hypochlorous acid
Underchloric acid (HClO), or hypochlorous acid as it is also called, is also our body’s own disinfectant that effectively kills unwanted bacteria in our bodies. It is, among other things, hypochlorous acid that our white blood cells produce when they attack bacteria, viruses, etc. Source*
Hypochlorous acid, or hypochlorous acid (in English hypochlorous acid) is a weak acid that is formed when chlorine is dissolved in water. It can not exist in pure form but only as a solution in water. Hypochlorous acid attacks proteins in the cell membranes of microorganisms and destroys them so that the cell breaks down and dies. Thanks to the direct mechanism of action, it does not matter if the bacteria are resistant or multi-resistant to antibiotics. Hypochlorous acid is also one of the active ingredients in many other products, for example from the well-known Virkon and Mölnlycke.
Studies on electrolysed water
There are an incredible number of research articles that support the use of electrolysed water which, among other things, show that the substance is effective against almost everyone.
common bacterial pathogens such as E. coli, Salmonella, Listeria, Vibrio, Staphylococcus, MRSA, spore-forming bacteria and many common viruses (including Norovirus) and fungi. Read more here.
